The magic is back in Niagara Falls, that is, the magic of Greg Frewin.

While shows were sparse for many months for obvious pandemic reasons, a quick look at the May schedule saw the Greg Frewin Theater (5781 Ellen Ave, Niagara Falls) full less than half the month, but in June and July? Night after night after night the entertainment is coming.

His show is elaborate to say the least – entirely in keeping with his status as an International Grand Champion of Magic.

“Our show is jaw-dropping in a Vegas-style format and features both one-of-a-kind and world-renowned illusions performed by Greg Frewin,” the website boasted. Pull a few off YouTube and prepare to be amazed.

The show was hailed as a “breathtaking magical experience and family entertainment experience, featuring real tigers, including a rare white Siberian, and exotic birds from around the world”.

The Hamilton-born, Niagara Falls illusionist has placed first in numerous magic competitions, including the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Society of American Magicians, Canadian Association of Magicians, and Federation Internationale Society of Magic – widely regarded as the Olympics of magic.

His winning streak recently peaked with his 2009 win of the magician of the year prize at the World Magic Awards, effectively ranking him as the best illusionist in the world.

During his professional career, Frewin has performed live all over the world, from Japan to Monte Carlo, from cruise ships on the high seas to the Vegas Strip.

During this period, Frewin also appeared on more than 35 television programs, including NBC’s The greatest magic in the worldABC champions of magic and his own three-part CBC special Magic Man: Home for the Holidays.

His accolades include:
