George Ezra will play a major outdoor summer show in Yorkshire.
The 28-year-old star, known for songs such as Shotgun and Budapest, will take the stage at the Scarborough Open Air Theater (OAT) on Friday September 23. George will be touring later this year in support of new album Gold Rush – he has already announced a Yorkshire show in Sheffield.
The Scarborough team are delighted to add another big name to their summer concert schedule alongside Sam Fender, Christina Aguilera, Lewis Capaldi, Elbow, Tears For Fears, Westlife and Crowded House among others. Venue programmer Peter Taylor said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce that George Ezra is bringing his UK tour here to Scarborough.

“He is one of the UK’s most acclaimed talents and his last arena tour was sold out. We open our Scarborough season with Sam Fender on May 27 and now we finish with George Ezra, and of course we have 15 more title shows in between.
“George Ezra will present a brilliant evening and it’s the perfect way to end what will be an amazing summer of live music here on the Yorkshire coast.” Other artists performing at OAT this summer include A-Ha, Bryan Adams and Simply Red.
