Drake Announces Intimate New York Theater Show

Drake has announced a small theater show in New York for next month.

The Canadian artist, who released his seventh album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ in June, will take the stage at the 1,500-seat Apollo Theater in Harlem on November 11 as part of SiriusXMit is small scenes series.

As twirl notes, Drake has only played four live shows so far this year.

Tickets for the star’s intimate concert in New York are available for free for SiriusXM the subscribers. Alternatively, non-subscribers can download the station’s app, subscribe and then enter the prize draw.

Last month Drake posted screenshots showing hateful Instagram messages he had sent needle drop music critic Anthony Fantano. It came after Fantano joked about Drake messaging him during a video he posted on YouTube.

After Drake shared the DMs he sent Fantano, the latter responded to the situation by calling the messages “very crazy, salty…weird and awkward.”

In a review of ‘Honestly, Nevermind’, NME described the record as “an unexpected elevation of the bland trappings, R&B remakes and Drake’s wistful attitude to love we last heard”.

He added: “It doesn’t quite change that last one as much as one would hope – the album is as boring as anything he’s ever done – but the house sound at least gave it a kick. of creative thumb that his recording career has been screaming for lately.
