The seasonal Starlight show opens at the Babbacombe Theater in Torquay in mid-February, with performances every week until mid-October.
We hope the name of the show proves fitting, brightening your day when times have been dark lately.
The production, directed and produced by Colin Matthews, will feature hits from some of the most iconic names in music, TV, film and musical theater – from West Side Story to Moulin Rouge and Tick Tick Boom – all performed by a talented cast.

They will embrace the comedic talents of the two Ronnies, Dame Edna and Stavros Flatley from Britain’s Got Talent, to name a few.
They are equally adept at performing pop hits old and new, with songs from the Beatles and Elton John to Ricky Martin, S Club 7 and Robbie Williams.
In reviews on Tripadvisor, Google, and the theater’s social media pages, the most common words used to describe the annual seasonal shows are “fun” and “fabulous.”
The production features singer and comedian Steve Laister, West End singer Paul Cobley, the talented Wayne Martin, singing sensation Lindsey Collard, The Voice star Holly Cosgrove and own theater Kidz & Co.
The resident team of dancers, Danze Chique, continue to raise the bar each season, to dynamic choreography by Lucy O’Neill and musical arrangements by Pete Leonard.
With a storyline that combines classic variety from decades past with current and new subject matter, the stars of Babbacombe’s boards will look to exceed audience expectations throughout 2022.
The show opens Tuesday, February 15 and will run every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. until Wednesday, October 19. There is also a matinee show on Wednesday August 17 at 2.30pm – bringing the total number of performances to 73.
