AUDITIONS for the Studio Theater Club production of Macbeth take place today (04).
The Amateur Drama Club, based at Blackbird Leys Community Center in Oxford, holds auditions from 7.30pm to 9pm.
Macbeth, a tragedy written by William Shakespeare, is about the titular character winning a great victory for Duncan, King of Scotland. He won praise and honors. But an encounter with the supernatural turns her mind on a darker path.

There is no formal audition process, people are expected to take part in open readings of the play at the Blackbird Leys Road centre.
The director will use this reading and information from people’s “hint forms” to decide how best to air the show.
