Children and families who enjoy solving a good fairy tale detective story can witness the mystery, Nick Tickle, fairy tale detective at the Kelsey Theater at Mercer County Community College (MCCC) March 11-13. The Kelsey Theater is located on the college’s West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

The play starts with Granny, who can’t tell her favorite fairy tales because someone steals all the props. When breadcrumbs, magic beans, a basket of goodies and a glass slipper are missing, the future of fairy tales hangs in the balance. It’s up to the main character to put things right.

With detective reasoning and his connections to the underworld of fairy tales, plus a bit of luck, Nick Tickle sets out to locate the mysterious figure who carried out the looting. He may need the help of all the spectators to solve his toughest case ever.

Performances are Friday, March 11 at 7 p.m.; Saturday March 12 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.; and Sunday, March 13 at 1 p.m. Tickets cost $10 to $12. To visit KelseyTheatre.org or call (609) 570-3333.
